To Prepare academically excellent, highly technical and self-disciplined engineering graduates with professional ethics and willingness to contribute to the economical growth of our nation, also enable them to pursue post graduate and research programme’s and to succeed in industry and professional career, and to make successful entrepreneurs.
To produce talented Electronics and Communication Engineering Graduates with strong foundation in basic Sciences and Mathematics that are required to comprehend electronics and communication engineering fundamentals which are introduced as core subjects, to analyse and understand Electronics and communication Engineering problems and to pursue higher education including research careers.
To train students with strong scientific and engineering breadth and depth in electronics and communication subjects so as to comprehend, analyse, design , create novel products and solutions to the real time problems specifically in the communication sector and in the field of electronics and communication engineering in general. An exposure to advanced subjects in the field of electronics and communication engineering and interdisciplinary activities related to electronics and communication are contemplated as a foundation to take research work.
To mould the students from engineers to professionals by imparting necessary skills viz. communications, team work, leadership and enhance their ability in their managerial skills to meet the requirements of the industry.
To provide students with an academic environment and dissemination of knowledge through continuous teaching-learning process those are needed for individuals and social environments and also to mould students to take the learning as a continuous process in order to meet the challenge of continuous changes in technology.

M. The use of current apppcation software’s; the design and use of circuits; and the analysis, design, testing, and documentation of Analog and Digital circuits for the use in Communications engineering.
N. The basic knowledge of electronics, electrical components, computer architecture and apppcations of microcomputer systems, communications needed in data transport.
